Getting to know you

Discovery

Each project, big or small, starts with some form of discovery. We’ll review your current content to assess what works and what doesn’t. We’ll want to see your brand and content guidelines, if you have them.

We may want to talk to some of your key stakeholders. We’ll also look at the competition and their platforms to better understand the current market landscape.

Strategy

Once we’ve gathered key information, we can start developing our strategy. For a new website, this process is more involved. What content needs to live on each page, which pages will we tackle first, does page content advance the client’s goals, and how will everything fit together?

Even with a smaller project, like an email nurture campaign, the questions are basically the same. What content will live in these emails, in what order will we tackle them, and how do they move the needle for our client?

With our strategy in place, it’s heads down time. We typically use Google Docs to build drafts and share them for review. Your feedback is key, which is why we deliver content in batches. We want to know we’re on the right track before we get too far down the road.
